Isaac Scare
Being in Utah again has been so wonderful. Brad finally joined us last Thursday, and it's just so fun to see all of our family again. Isaac did however give us a bit of a scare yesterday morning. We were all trying to get ready and be to church by 9:00. I went into the bathroom to do my hair and make-up, and little Isaac followed me in. I noticed the hard tile floor was wet from showers, but was in a hurry, and didn't bother wiping it up. Big mistake with a toddler in the room! Pretty soon, i hear a scream and turn to see Isaac flat on his back. He'd slipped and in the process hit his head on the tile! I didn't think he hit his head all too hard, so i picked up my upset baby and walked out to the hallway to console him. He cried for a few seconds, then took a big breath. The kind of breath that you know a HUGE scream is going to follow. So as I was bracing my ears to be a little bit abused, instead of screaming, his whole body went limp! The poor little boy had passed out. It took me a few seconds to realized that he actually wasn't conscious anymore! Brad helped me realize it, and we went over to the couch to lay him down and try to get some blood to his head (thanks to Brad). He slowly came to again (after probably only a few more seconds, but it seemed longer) and seemed to be doing ok. He ate some banana, then wanted his grandma. We looked for signs of head injury or concussion, but seemed to be just fine in every way. So though-out the day we kept a close eye on him, but he's been his same old self! Looking back, I think he passed out from breathing in too much air rather then hitting his head. Funny thing though, on the way to church, he just completely ignored me. This worried me, but he'd respond just fine to Brad. Turns out, I think he must have just blamed me for the whole ordeal, and was holding a grudge! I got the cold shoulder from him until in the middle of the Sacrament, he decided to forgive me. He came over to my lap, and gave me about 10 very loud "mouh" kisses all over my face. I'm just so thankful that Isaac is good and healthy!

Solo
Now Isaac's in Utah, and I'm the one needing updates... I hope Amy does a post soon!
So far I'm getting much more C+ grades than I'd like. oh well, at least it's passing.
