Like his mama

So I've always been amazed when we go out and eat a soup or some kind of casserole where there's like a billion ingredients and Amy always discovers the one ingredient that she doesn't like and she spits it out. At first I thought it was perhaps a bad habit, but sometimes it really is turning out to be a talent. I mean, I often eat something and enjoy it and then after the meal is over I find all of these ingredients that I never even knew about on the side of Amy's plate. It's practally amazing sometimes! Sometimes I try and cut up and grind the onions so small that I'm sure she'll never notice, and then thirty minutes later, there's a pile of onions on the side of her plate! She'd make a great culinary connoisseur for sure!!

Anyways I bring this up because Saturday I fed Isaac some potatoe salad that I brought home from school. The following is a true story:

He ate the potatoes, which he loves. He ate the hard chunks and the mashed potatoes. He also ate the tomatoes and pickles which he loves too. But after he swallowed it all, two things popped out of his mouth... An onion chunk, and a green pepper! All shiney and clean! He's just like his mommy!

I thought our neighbors have a jungle forest front yard. Here, if you look closely you'll notice the monster sized spider web glistening in the sun, and the angry squirrel who didn't like me taking his picture holding onto the tree trunk about the web. We live in a tropical climate!
However for the first time EVER, I felt REALLY cold this morning walking from the car to the gym. WOW!
