We have 5 more days until the end of the world. It's so exciting!
What are yall going to do on Dec. 21, 2012? It's a good day to celebrate life.
Here are some valid ways the world may end that day:
1: Zombies (either previously dead ones or currently living people become zombies and come out to eat the rest of us)
2: Meteor, should we really trust that the star gazers would warn us?
3: Super virus/bacteria eats our brains
4: Nuclear bombs melt all the ice on the north and south poles and we all get flooded
5: All the techtonic energy is released and volcanoes pop up everywhere
6: Aliens laser us all
7: The government harvests too much steel from the earth's core and we implode
8: Apes become more intelligent than us and enslave us
9: The sun explodes.
10: The internet spawns robots determined to delete us.
But lets not think about this. We still have 5 days to pretend that life will go on.
So with baseless hope in our hearts, we now reveal some of our future plans. A future plan assuming our peaceful world continues to function.
Amy, Isaac, Luke and I are planning on selling our Houston Texas house so that we can move BACK to Utah and be closer to family.
We've felt that this is where we're meant to be and although Utah is not an ideal place for private practice optometry, we do have faith that God will prepare something for us.
But don't be surprised if we end up living in Salt Lake City with a big fat Lone Star carved into our house, or our lawn. We may fly a Texas flag in the front yard. Luke is a native Texan and we've all been changed thanks to our amazing time in the greatest state in the world.
We still have 1 more year to enjoy Texas, but we'll be spending a lot of that time preparing to move back to Utah.
Hope all you family and friends in Utah can celebrate a little today. For my Houston friends, hey, most of yall are leaving Houston after graduation anyways so you can't be too mad at me.
